This evaluation focuses on signaling pathways that encourage nutrient uptake, reply to adjustments in nutrients, and control autophagy. Two significant metabolic pathways are glycolysis and mitochondrial oxidative metabolism (see Chandel 2020b,c); thus, we will explore signaling pathways which are activated when glucose or oxygen levels diminish.
